Emily D’Angelo

Emily D’Angelo is a renowned Canadian-Italian mezzo-soprano who has rapidly risen to prominence in the international opera scene. Born in 1994 in Toronto, D’Angelo began her musical journey at a young age, studying piano and singing. She honed her vocal skills at the University of Toronto and further refined her craft as a member of the Canadian Opera Company’s Ensemble Studio. D’Angelo’s breakthrough came in 2016 when she won the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, a victory that catapulted her into the spotlight.
